Who are we?

Brett Gerry Films is a husband and wife production team based in the North East of England.

What do we do?

We make feature length films that stand apart from the majority of films made in Britain today: thoughtful and intelligent films, made with care and precision, that illustrate the alternative film theories expressed on this blog daily.

What do we believe?

We believe that modern cinema is in a cul-de-sac. Current trends in move-making and film education are resulting in a glut of fatuous and puerile films that we don’t want to be a part of. We believe that cinema can produce great works of art, as well as being a force for change.
